Cybersec Europe has long presented the Computable Awards, but cybersecurity awards are increasingly coming to the fore. As a result, the Cybersec Awards have been added to the program this year.

Two major awards are planned for the Cybersec Europe show. The first is the prestigious Best Cybersecurity Innovation Europe Award. Innovation in security is broadly defined for this award. It could be a solution, a product, a technology, an approach or a project.
A second Cybersec Award at the show is the Best Cybersecurity Project / Program Europe Award. This award considers the human and operational side of security: projects and programs. These two awards will be judged by a panel of experts.
In addition to the Cybersec Awards, there will be three Cybersec Event Awards this year. These are exhibition awards and will go to the exhibitor with the most registrations, the most registrations per square metre and the exhibitor with the most buzz on social media such as LinkedIn.
In addition to these Cybersec Awards, there are also the Computable Awards, which have been presented at the show since the inception of Cybersec Europe. These include the equally prestigious IT Person of the Year Award, for a leading figure in business IT with a proven track record.
There is also the Computable Award for Social Innovation of the Year. This recognises technology initiatives that contribute to issues such as inclusion, diversity, wellbeing and sustainability. There are also four Computable Project of the Year awards in the Enterprise, Government, SMB and Healthcare categories. Again, an expert panel of judges will help select the winners.
Last but not least, there are the Tech Start-up of the Year Awards. Young companies first present their start-up in an elevator pitch to a jury on the Tech Stage. And possibly receive the award afterwards.
The Cybersec & Computable Awards will be presented on Thursday 22 May from 3.45pm on the main stage of Cybersec Europe.
