Cybersec Europe and Computable join forces to present awards. Europe’s most important IT & security event will now partner with the most prestigious IT awards in the Benelux. The result is a spectrum of IT and cybersecurity awards. Registration is possible until 14 February 2025.

For the first time, Cybersec Europe 2025 will present dedicated cybersecurity awards. This is in addition to Computable Belgium’s well-known awards for innovative IT projects, inspiring IT personalities, praiseworthy social innovations and successful start-ups.
Last year, the Computable Belgium editors received dozens of entries for the awards, including in the Security Innovation of the Year and Security Awareness of the Year categories. These two security categories will be part of the Cybersec Europe Awards 2025. Once again, anyone can submit an entry. The deadline is 14 February. Most entries will also receive editorial attention.
Entries can be submitted via the module on the Computable website. Nominations can be made in the following categories:
Best C(I)SO Europe
Category for European Chief (Information) Security Officers who have recently achieved demonstrable results in the field of cybersecurity.
2025 Cybersecurity Hero of Europe
Category for people who have made a notable achievement in Europe in the field of cybersecurity or data privacy. This achievement must be demonstrable.
Best Cybersecurity Innovation Europe
Category for European solutions, products, technologies, approaches and/or projects that provide protection and/or enhance resilience in an innovative way.
Best Cybersecurity Awareness Program Europe
Category for European initiatives leading to greater awareness in the field of security and safety.
Best Cybersecurity Project Europe
Category for European-scale projects recently implemented in the field of cybersecurity.
Best Cybersecurity Startup Europe
Category for start-ups of up to five years old whose main activity is to provide a cybersecurity solution or service. The start-up its head office must be based in Europe.
IT Person of the Year
Category for leaders and personalities who have made a significant impact or contribution in the digital arena over the past year.
IT Project of the Year in SMB Market
Category for ICT projects that are implemented in small and medium-sized companies.
IT Project of the Year in Enterprise Market
Category for ICT projects that are recently implemented in large corporate enterprises.
IT Project of the Year in Education
Category for ICT projects that have recently been implemented in educational institutions or in the education sector.
IT Project of the Year in Government
Category for ICT projects that have recently been implemented in government organizations or in the government sector.
IT Project of the Year in Health
Category for ICT projects that have recently been implemented in healthcare organisations or in the healthcare sector.
Social Innovation of the Year
Category for initiatives in the digital domain that contribute to a better world.
Tech Startup of the Year
Category for start-ups of up to five years old whose main activity is to provide an ICT solution or service. The start-ups its head office must be based in Belgium.
IT Lifetime Achievement Award
Category for leaders with a proven track record in the Belgian IT sector.
Cybersec Europe and Computable will present the Cybersec Europe & Computable Awards 2025 at a live presentation on 22 May. This will take place during Cybersec Europe 2025 at the Brussels Expo.
